Pick a scene, then drag inside the triangle. Each edge is an axis for one setting — aperture, shutter, ISO — and the dotted lines read the current values off the edges.
How it works: every point in the triangle is a correctly exposed combination — you choose any two settings and the third follows. So you are only picking which artifact to accept: a bright scene gives a small, comfortable triangle (little blur or noise anywhere), while a dim scene forces blur or noise wherever you click. Light is what buys you out of the trade-off.
